What is a Cougar Champion?
Cougar Champions believe in the mission, vision and values of Cristo Rey Columbus High School. They are individuals who commit to a four-year pledge of $5,000 a year to bridge the academic gap for one student throughout their Cristo Rey Columbus High School journey.
Why is a Multi-Year Commitment Important? Multi-year commitments help ensure a secure and predictable income source for Cristo Rey Columbus. This allows for stronger planning, expansion of services for our students and it provides a greater connection for you – the donor – to our students.
Here’s how your support helps Bridge the Gap!
Every Cristo Rey student earns a significant portion of the cost of their education through our Professional Work-Study Program. Additionally, each family commits to pay a small amount of tuition, and all students qualify for the EdChoice Scholarship. However, there remains a gap of approximately $5,000 per student per year to cover the full cost of a college-preparatory Cristo Rey Columbus education.

It takes more than $20,000 a year to educate a Cristo Rey Columbus High School student. Each $5,000 gift bridges the financial gap.

All incoming freshmen and transfer students begin their education with the Summer Success Institute. Speed Chatting offers students a chance to practice their new skills by conversing with guests – that’s YOU!
Draft Day

Join our students as they celebrate their placement with a Professional Work-Study Partner. The business community comes together to welcome Cristo Rey Columbus High School students into their companies and organizations.
After School Soiree
