Professional Work-Study Program

Why Partner?

Our Professional Work-Study Program is what sets the Cristo Rey Columbus experience apart.

The Professional Work-Study Program (PWSP) is a nationally recognized model benefits everyone involved. Businesses invest in driven student workers, while students gain access to an affordable, college-preparatory education. We deeply value our work-study partners, who share our commitment to guiding and supporting students on their journey to success.

For our partners, the program provides a cost-effective way to fill entry-level roles with intelligent, motivated student employees. It is a proven business model that supports both operational needs and brand reputation. We proudly highlight our work-study partners on our website and within the Cristo Rey Columbus community.

For our students, the program offers the opportunity to contribute to the cost of their education while gaining real-world experience in professional settings. Each student takes a full load of college-prep classes and works one day per week in the offices of our partner organizations, preparing them for success in college, careers, and beyond.
