Father Joseph Thomas, Cristo Rey Columbus Chaplain
Inspired by his parents’ prayers, Fr. Joseph felt called to the priesthood and completed his seminary training in India. He has served as a Catholic priest for 12 years, including time as Parochial Vicar at St. Joseph Cathedral in Columbus, and now brings his guidance and faith to the CRC community. At Cristo Rey, he enjoys supporting students as a spiritual father and finds great joy in praying the Rosary. One scripture particularly meaningful to him is Isaiah 41:10: “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” Beyond his ministry, Fr. Joseph is passionate about visiting the sick and studying the lives of the saints, finding inspiration and strength in their stories.
