Mrs. Ryan Michelle Pettit
Principal
Mrs. Pettit has 17 years of experience in education. She was a math teacher for 11 years teaching at schools in Kentucky and Kansas City before moving back to Columbus, her hometown. She taught math at Cristo Rey Columbus for 3 years before joining the administration last year. She is honored to be Principal while continuing to be a teacher at heart.
Mrs. Pettit’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics Education from Asbury University and a Master’s of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Baker University. She earned a Masters in Educational Leadership through the Mary Ann Remick Leadership program at the University of Notre Dame in 2021. Mrs. Pettit has a passion for learning and is a lifelong learner.
When not engaged in her graduate studies, Mrs. Pettit likes to spend time reading or spending time outdoors with her family.
Mrs. Pettit is committed to the mission of Cristo Rey Columbus working to provide a supportive climate that is conducive to teaching and learning. She wants to see students excel, live for others and have ample opportunity to become whatever they want to be.

Mrs. Shelby Fischer
Assistant Principal
Mrs. Fischer holds a MS in Education. With nearly 20 years in the profession, including roles as teacher and administrator, she leads students and teachers with a balance of compassion and accountability. She believes in setting high expectations for herself and others.

Mrs. Madeleine Abels
Dean of Students
Mrs. Abels holds a Bachelor’s degree in Adolescent to Young Adult Education with a concentration in Language Arts from the University of Dayton and a Master’s degree in Education with a focus in English as a second language from Muskingum University. After teaching in the English department at Cristo Rey for 6 years, she is excited to be stepping into the role of Dean of Students. Mrs. Abels looks forward to working with all students and families and supporting them throughout their time at CRCHS.

Mrs. Kelly Rausch-Davis
Instructional Coach
Mrs. Rausch-Davis has a degree in Integrated Mathematics from the University of Dayton and a Masters of Education from the University of Notre Dame. After teaching mathematics for 7 years at Cristo Rey she is looking forward to filling the new role of Instructional Coach. As Instructional Coach, she hopes to provide all teachers with non-evaluative support to better engage students in their learning.

Mrs. Angela Baumann
Science
Mrs. Baumann has been teaching Biology at Cristo Rey Columbus High School since 2014. She is a native of Columbus and earned both her B.A. and her Master’s of Education at The Ohio State University. She is also the faculty advisor for Science Club.

Mrs. Allie Boyer
Math
Mrs. Boyer teaches Algebra 1 and 2. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Education at The Ohio State University. Her favorite thing about math is that it encourages problem solving and critical thinking. Mrs. Boyer also enjoys reading, exercising, and spending time with her friends and family.

Ms. Mary Chow
Tutor
Ms. Chow is an educator licensed in 7-12 Integrated English Language Arts and K-12 Teaching English in Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL). She has a Master’s in Education from The Ohio State University. Over the past 12 years Ms. Chow has enjoyed instructing students of diverse populations. She always tries to look for the good in every pupil.

Mrs. Jen Clark
Tutor
Mrs. Clark has a Bachelor’s degree in Math Education from Brigham Young University and is licensed in 7-12 Integrated Math. She is a math tutor at Cristo Rey and enjoys being able to work with students in a one-on-one setting. Her goal is to help students strengthen fundamental math skills and gain a deeper understanding of key math concepts. Mrs. Clark’s favorite thing about her job is getting to know her students and finding out about each of their unique and wonderful qualities!

Mr. Oliver Corrigan
Social Studies
Mr. Corrigan teaches US History and AP US History. He holds a Master of Science in Secondary Education from the University of Akron, and has been teaching for over ten years. He believes that by thoughtfully studying history, Cristo Rey students can better navigate the present and blaze a new path for the future.

Dr. Brandon Crowe
Science
Dr. Crowe is a chemistry teacher with experience teaching at both the collegiate and high school level. He has a PhD in biochemistry from The Ohio State University. His passion is communicating scientific ideas clearly while developing scientific literacy and critical thinking skills.

Ms. Dixon believes in the importance of physical education for her students.

Mr. Brice Dobler
Math
Mr. Dobler loves teaching math. He has taught it over 15 years at all levels in all sorts of places including Columbus, Taiwan, and Cambodia. He believes developing a strong character and a sharp mind are two of greatest endeavors which one can pursue.

Mrs. Ashley Grasinger
Alumni Support Counselor
As the Alumni Support Counselor, Mrs. Grasinger is excited to help CRC students, alumni and families with their plans after graduation! She is a first-generation college graduate and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Baldwin Wallace University and a Master of Arts degree from Regis University. Since graduating college ,Mrs. Grasinger has worked in higher education and college access as both a university admissions counselor and high school college counselor.

Mrs. Katherine Laufersweiler-Hanf
Student Success Coordinator
Mrs. Laufersweiler-Hanf holds a masters degree in Theology from the University of Dayton and has been teaching theology for over a decade. Out of her commitment to her faith, she is called to serve the diverse needs of all students. In her new role as Student Success Coordinator, she will implement programming designed to help students develop executive functioning skills that will contribute to their success in academics and much more.

Mr. Nathan Laufersweiler-Hanf
Theology
Mr. Laufersweiler-Hanf has been teaching in Catholic schools for over a decade and believes that all students can do great work. He teaches theology and photography and holds a master’s degree in theology and Biblical studies from Catholic Theological Union.

Ms. Jennifer Lester
Science
Ms. Lester has been teaching Physics/ AP Physics at Cristo Rey Columbus for 4 years. She earned a Masters of Education from the Ohio State University in 2012 and has been teaching high school in Columbus for the past 8 years. She has 3 teaching licenses in both Math and Physics. She is the advisor for National Honors Society and Pawsitive Impact.

English
Mrs. Letizia has a degree in English from The Ohio State University and is licensed in Integrated Language Arts 7-12. She is passionate about English education and teaching students to think critically. Mrs. Letizia’s favorite part of teaching is seeing students grow as readers and communicators.

Sr. Castissima Masambo
Campus Ministry Assistant
Sister Castissima comes to Cristo Rey from the Order of Our Lady of Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania to serve as Campus Ministry Assistant. She will be assisting our school by leading morning prayer, meeting with students to provide spiritual guidance, and in many other ways.

Mrs. Natalie Matt
English
Mrs. Matt grew up in New York City, has lived in 7 different states, and has taught English Literature and Language in 5 of them. Mrs. Matt has a B.A. in English from Williams College and an M.Ed. in Secondary Education with a focus on English from George Washington University. Mrs. Matt loves being a teacher at Cristo Rey Columbus, mostly because of the extraordinary students.

Mr. Jake Maxwell
English
Mr. Maxwell serves as the 12th grade English teacher. He hopes to cultivate verbal competence in students as well as conviction to seek and speak the truth.

Ms. Cathryn O’Connell
Theology
Ms. O’Connell has a Masters in Catholic Theology from Ohio Dominican University, and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Dayton in Philosophy and American Studies. She joined the Cristo Rey Community in 2020 to teach Theology after a decade in youth and adult ministry.

Mrs. Stephanie Perlik
Academic Counselor
Mrs. Perlik holds a Masters of Education in Integrated Language Arts 7-12 from Ohio State University. Mrs. Perlik has been an English teacher for over a decade; she is honored to have taught every graduating class at Cristo Rey Columbus High School. Mrs. Perlik believes in a challenging, relevant curriculum that prepares students to achieve their dreams.

Mr. Rose is a Social/Emotional Licensed School Counselor, working in the education field for ten years. He believes every child has purpose and potential. His motto is: Not all students can be saved but all students are worth the effort.

Mr. Ethan Trapani
Math
Mr. Trapani has a degree in Integrated Mathematics from the University of Dayton and a Masters of Education from the University of Notre Dame. He was born and raised in Columbus and teaches mathematics. His favorite thing about teaching his classes is seeing students come up with several ways to solve a single problem.

Mrs. Morgan Willman
Science
Mrs. Willman attended Mount St. Joseph University where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Master’s degree in Education. She is excited to be teaching biology, anatomy and physiology, and engineering. Mrs. Willman also enjoys taking her dog, Gryffin, to the dog park and spending time with friends and family.

Mrs. Marijana Yelich
Theology
Mrs. Yelich is expected to graduate this fall with a M.A. in Theology from Ohio Dominican University. She holds a B.A. in English language and literature and Italian language and literature. Mrs. Yelich also serves as a volunteer catechist at St. Brigid of Kildare. She has great interest in learning and teaching about Catholic intellectual and spiritual tradition.

Ms. Amy Fancelli Zalimas
Social Studies
Ms. Fancelli Zalimas holds advanced degrees in both History and English education. She believes in empowering her World History students to explore different perspectives of the past and to apply their own understandings of history to understand the present and to impact the future!
